Contribuisci feedbackThis place is absolutely stunning. Whoever decorated it gets an A+ from me. The bar in particular is absolutely perfect and cozy. Staff was very kind and friendly. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The bathroom is very cute. Ourfloors were a little bit creaky in our room but it?s an old building so we weren?t too bothered. Overall a good experience!Breakfast is included and pretty tasty so that?s a nice perk.
The Celeste is a beautiful boutique hotel in St Paul. It was a convent at one time and much of the decor is centered around that theme. Breakfast is in the former chapel with a vaulted ceiling and chandeliers. We stayed in room 606 and had a spectacularview of the state capitol building from our room. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The manager Carl isfantastic! I would highly recommend staying at the Celeste!
We just stayed at Celeste for our anniversary. We found it to be unique, friendly and meticulously restored. The staff was great and we had a wonderful visit with the manager, Carl, which added to our appreciation of the property. He filled us in onsome history of the building and the process of lovingly restoring it. Breakfast is in the chapel and was superior to mosthotel breakfasts. Everything was hot and tasty with nice side options. The atmosphere lent itself to relaxing over a secondcup of coffee or cappuccino while enjoying the atmosphere. This is truly a one-of-a-kind hotel with an interesting past. Weare looking forward to staying again and perhaps staying in one of the lovely suites! Thank you for the memorable time! Joyceand John restoring it.
Every time we visit St. Paul, we will be hoping for a vacancy here! Not only is the building absolutely stunning, the folks that work here are outstanding. They have far exceeded my expectations! There are a few in particular who really helped makethis last minute stay so easy for us and once I get the correct spelling of their names, I'll update. The complementarybreakfast is not run of the mill. It's located in the gorgeous Chapel and the choices of food and beverage will not disappoint, everyone has been full, happy, caffeinated! If you're in St. Paul, consider this place for your stay. You will not bedisappointed.
I love this hotel. It?s in an old convent in downtown St Paul. It?s the perfect combo of historic, cheeky, twee, and modern. Breakfast is also great. Don?t miss. It?s in the refectory, where the nuns used to eat. The special rooms and suites also seemamazing and super unique. I?d love to stay in one of those someday!
