Riding and staff are great . Lack of Cafeteria hours and food that was served not very good . Love rustic cabins but they still need to be clean for guests. Our cabin was not clean after the prior guests . Luckily we have own bedding and utensils. Gas is expensive on property so bring your fuel. Riding hours could be longer while we had 2 more hours of daylight .
Not being expert riders, my son and I love the trails. It's been a great place to teach him and for me to get better at my riding. It looks like it could have really great trails and tracks for even more experienced riders. It's DEFINITELY worth the cost...very affordable. I do think the rental cost is a little steep for the equipment they rent. The equipment is dated and needs some updating. Other than that, I highly suggest!
Stopped by in between NY on our way to Texas for an overnight to have a family fun filled day of four wheeling at Durham Town with our 3 kiddos and everyone has a really great time. Only thing is they make it really hard for folks by how they raised the deposits very high per each rider. It used to not be that high. I had to drop $6500 total for the 5 of us to ride the half day which is pretty steep. You get your deposit back if you don't damage anything but I took a star for that upfront cost guys because most can't come up with that.
I don't think anyone uses yelp anymore.... But here we go! It's been a few years since I've been down to Durhamtown but I've been twice in total. Both times were an absolute blast. Trails are beautiful. MX tracks are all awesome. The lodging on the property was really nice. The food cooked on the property was also very good. The proshop had everything you'd need from new handgrips and handlebars to a whole new rental unit (if you don't feel like trailering yours or yours is damaged) I plan to return to Durhamtown some day in the near future.
