The Town Tavern - Uniontown

Amazing service. Nice Clean, sports bar atmosphere. They brought our entrées out and apologized for the lateness of mine as it was overcooked and needed to be redone. And it was well worth the extra 5 minutes it took to get mine. Resonably priced. Parking would be my only complaint as it's in a busier strip mall.

When it was time to pay the bill, I used cash, but didn’t have the exact amount. I asked the server to make change from another bill, and instead of giving me the change I needed for the meal, he only returned the extra cash, implying that he was keeping the rest as a tip—something I neither asked for nor expected. To make matters worse, he stood over me, staring and waiting for more money, which made me feel pressured to give him more than I intended. The only redeeming quality of the food were the fries, which tasted like the frozen ones you buy at the grocery store and bake at home. If you're thinking about ordering drinks, I recommend sticking to their beers. I tried the Orange Crush, which listed Absolute Mandarin, orange juice, soda, and Sprite as ingredients—nothing about lemonade or any component that could turn the drink yellow. Unfortunately, it had an unpleasant tint to it. At least our server waived the charge for that drink after I brought it up. We won’t be returning to this place again.

The food was incredible! Our server was very attentive and checked in with us multiple times to see if we needed anything. Overall, the food and service were outstanding, and I will definitely return.

Had the tacos tonight...excellent...our server, Kara, was fantastic! I was catching up with a couple old friends and we did more talking than ordering and Kara patiently continued to return to our table to get our orders...and she never missed a beat with beverage refills. My first time there...great experience!
