The food took 10-15 minutes to come, but it was fresh and HOT. I had El Matador and the woman had cheese enchiladas. I appreciated the classic rice and beans that didn't have a strange twist that you get other places. Overall, it was just what I was looking for.
This was a local favorite for over a decade! Great food and friendly service. Even if we're busy, we get our food in a very reasonable time. The nachos are amazing!!!! Heaps of meat, cheese and guacamole. It's an appetizer and it's HUGE! If you want to eat this for your main meal, it can feed 3 5 people easily. so warned, it's a lot of food. But it is absolutely delicious and worth getting! Her chimichanga, Burritos and other main dishes also taste fantastic.
My dad said he came here thirty years ago when he was in high school. The decor is cool, the servers were very nice, and the food was delicious. They gave us sopapillas and they were delicious. My father always gets the fried shrimp plate. I have the chimichan gas. Things on the menu were about $10-15, which is very affordable for a din-in restaurant!
This place has been there since I was very young. The place has a great ambience, the food is great and the servers are really nice.
My partner loves Mexican food, so since we were just at Ogden Contemporary Arts at The Monarch, we decided to walk over. He loved his taco/enchilada/tostada combo, especially the enchilada sauce, and the chicken salad was a great healthier option for me (I avoided the sour cream and cheese). I had the oil and vinegar dressing, which was herbed and delicious, and the chicken was shredded and flavorful. And it came in a tortilla shell like the taco salad! Friendly server. Nice experience. Great prices.
