The Huntsman And Hounds - Upminster

We arrived at lunch on Saturday afternoon. was not already one of them, but we were very impressed by the warm greeting we received. my man is on crutches after a knee surgery, several employees offered him help, a kind of young lady hit a table where he would be comfortable. we ordered food from the “Specials menu” that arrived immediately and was delicious. two courses, a glass of wine and a half bitter....all for £19,20! brilliant! we will return soon.

I had a lovely meal today in the garden. My only previous visit to the Huntsman Hound was for a wake, so it was nice to experience it on a regular day. The weather was beautiful, with clear blue skies, which added to the enjoyment. I'm not complaining at all! The waitress was very kind, even though it was clear she was quite busy. I didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive at the table. I look forward to returning soon. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon!

Charming little pub with a wonderful atmosphere, a lovely menu, and excellent food.

We were simply looking for a place to relax and enjoy a lovely bottle of wine in the sun. It turned out to be the perfect choice! We had a table in the garden and a delightful Pinot.

Had my Dads wake there, the staff bent over backwards to ensure everything ran smoothly, buffet was deliscious and plenty of it . Well done Huntsman
