Ended up being a great position as we could talk to the staff as a result got instant excellent service. Could be the tip of the year!? The home made Cannoli was the best ever. Pizza are a really thin crust, super fresh tasty. These are not run of the mill pizzas, really inventive, gourmet ones. Mulled wine available, again excellent. They also hand out a free, warm small plate of mixed olives, a very tasty enjoyable start. There is a fire pit outside to warm up on but it 's very popular. Also, a wood fire heater inside as you walk in the wood fired pizza oven at the rear next to the bar. So nice toasty inside. Have a 'Halo ' section upstairs for up to about 20 people but most comfortable at around 12-14 people. Only downside here is there is only one single toilet but you can always nip across the road to the pub. Plenty of beers, wines, spirits, etc, etc. Cheers, Q.
Great ambience, fab staff, delish gourmet pizzas served promptly. Catered well for GF and Vegetarian. Big wine and beer list. Something for everyone. Caters well for a group there were 10 of us. Highly recommend.
My siblings and I booked a little table in the creatively transformed old church. Having many dietary requirements I was just over the moon to be fully catered for with a bit of tweaking thanks to the chef. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates high quality food and flavours. Fresh and vibrant!!
Thanks for a fabulous night. Dropped in for a friends 40th function last night and as a first time visitor was really impressed. Loved the place. Decor fantastic, a warm cosy wood heater in the corner and another wood fire outside. Eclectic furniture inside and amazing wood bench tables outside. The pizza was simply amazing and we were privileged to try nearly all you had to offer. Crispy crust just how I like it. Wine choices were good and boutique without all the preservatives which was ideal. Keep up the good work and i hope you get loads of support you deserve to succeed and bring a little bit of 'special ' to peoples important evenings. Thanks again.
Went to Lost in the Forest for Mothers Day Breakfast with my wife and son. They were very busy so we sat outside and they had a wood fire that kept us warm. We ordered a wood oven Breakfast Pizzas and coffees. The pizza was amazing and cooked to perfection and the coffee was great to. The staff are very friendly and obliging. Keep up the good work. A true hidden gem in the Adelaide hills. I will be telling my friends and I will be back for more.
