We had to find lunch in the very quiet off season this week in Vail. We tried one of the steak places that _are_ open during this period, weekdays. Not a hit. Next we tried Up The Creek, and ended up back there a second day. : To start, we're a challenge: gluten free, garlic free, onion free, pepper free ... see what I mean? Not only did Up The Creek handle our needs, but did so with patience and a smile! Thank you, Yessica! The burgers are big and beautiful. Turkey sandwich yum. Truffle fries come on! Two days in a row. Main serving salads are very fresh and crisp and, at that time of year, in that locality, very much appreciated. Dressings distinctive and deliciously. Service: Top notch. Black Stallion Cab a hit. We've been there before and will definitely be there again.

Food was decent. Service was some of the worst I’ve had. The people were short and trying to rush us out from the moment we got there. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
