We had a great dinner at Aaron’s kitchen, our waiter was attentive and super friendly. We ordered the Octopus and seafood pasta (both entree size) and both meals were delicious. The complimentary bread appetiser was a bonus, must try the red sauce that comes with it
My first time at this small corner restaurant in Valletta. We ordered all seafood courses and enjoyed all of them. I ordered a lobster tagliatelle which was my first eating a lobster and found it delicious. The staff is very polite and the location is very enjoyable. Would recommend for seafood.
The service was awful. We waited for about an hour and a half for our food. The waiter knew nothing about their wine selection, and generally seemed indifferent. The bread basket was served just a minute before the appetizer. The food was not bad, but it was not great either. The fried fish was dry and soft. The duck breast was cooked fine, but the sides were disappointing. We did not stay for dessert.
Total disappointment! If you expect that Aaron himself is working at the kitchen and will cook for you, just don't. We order the highly recommended Lampuki which seemed to be taken out of a trash bin and served to us. Salad had a hugely sized tomato piece that fits more for a horse feed and frankly, if you have other Michelin options consider them first or even any random restaurant would do better.
