I ordered pizza with my son we sat down to eat I asked him for a glass of water. At the end he wanted to charge us 3 euros for a glass of tap water. I refused to pay 3 dollars for a glass of tap water. After bickering with him back and forth he understood that I might be a foreigner but I'm not an idiot. This man is quiet ill spirited. Needless to say; we will not be eating there again.BW his pizza sucks. You could kill someone with it the crust was soon hard, the sauce has too much oil on it and not enough vegetables. In short, terrible food; service; and abusive owner.
At most cafes in France we visit we are more than welcome with our dog. However I always accept the "no dogs" rule inside any eating establishment and would never enter with our dog without asking permission. I have found when we sit outside in colder weather some cafe owners tell us to come inside. So imagine my surprise in Verteilliac on visiting this establishment when we SAT OUTSIDE and planned to ask for a cup of coffee. We were told abruptly NO DOGS.....and yes I ironically did not see the mulitude of "no dogs" signs that littered the establishment......clearly the owner has a problem and is "sign obsessed". If your a dog owner STAY WELL CLEAR :)
