Hjarbaek Kro - Viborg

The absolute best food in the Viborg area. It was me and my boyfriends first visit at the restaurant and surely not the last. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was so friendly and had such a greate charisma, and the restaurant itself was very warm and welcoming. We are coming back to visit for sure. !!! Thanks a lot <3

On our way to vacation we chose to drive by Hjarbæk kro to have lunch. It was a bit out of the way for us, and therefor we turned up with high expectations. We were met by an idyllic building and friendly service. The menu for lunch is good, with both meat and fish dishes. Also a nice children's menu. Our family age 3 to 65 (six people) were quickly seated at a nice table. We ordered five diffefent meals (two from the children's menu). All the food was very good, it was also served at the same time and stuff that should be hot was hot! It did not take long from we ordered until we got our meal. The portions are big! Non of us managed to finnish it all, although we wanted to because it tasted so good. This is a place I'd love to return to. The outdoors is also quiet and nice.

The essence of Danish Kro! Top marks for atmosphare, service, food and location. A feel of being invited home to someones house. The food was super, and the plates that passed our table to other lucky guests looked amazing. Judging by the remarks on the other tables, the taste was also excellent. A true hidden gem. Find it!

Really Nice place located in front of the sea with a little beach in front. We ordered different things and it was so yummy, loved it with the old danish style inspiration inside, outside and the food. I will love to come back. Nice dessert and take away icecream. Nice staff and good beers. I recommend this to everyone, oldies, youngsters and children. The picture is from the beautiful town, fantastic place to go for a walk and grab a bite.

Great atmosphere, great view and great food try to get a table facing the fjord and be there at sunset
