Had the black bohnenburger and suppe and it was fantastic! the waitress was very accommodating to make sure that the spiced and side veganized and the service was pleasant.
We were looking for a place to eat in Baddeck, but all the other restaurants on Kuh Avenue were closed since the tourist season had ended. While walking, we came across this restaurant. Though there were no vegan options listed on the menu, the waitress was knowledgeable about vegan food and offered several options. I opted for the black bean burger and salad, both veganized. It was probably the best black bean burger I have ever had, and one of the best vegan burgers I've ever tried. The burger was loaded with naturally vegan toppings like relish, pickles, and avocado. The salad was huge, healthy, and beautifully presented. This review was updated on October 15, 2020.
I tried the black bean burger and soup at this restaurant and it was outstanding! The waitress was very helpful in making sure the spices and sides were suitable for a vegan diet, and the service was very pleasant.
We were looking for a place to eat in Baddeck, but all the other restaurants on Happy Cow were closed since the tourist season had ended. We came across this restaurant while out for a walk and even though there wasn't a specific vegan option on the menu, the waitress was very knowledgeable about vegan options and offered several choices. I decided to try the black bean burger and salad, both made vegan. It was probably the best black bean burger I've ever had, and one of the best vegan burgers overall. The toppings were all naturally vegan, like relish, pickles, and avocado, which is not common at most places. The salad was also huge, healthy, and beautiful.
