WOW! The food was SO good that we ate more that our stomach was able to handle! That's what happen when you discover an all you can eat vegan buffet!!! There are so many different dishes including noodle soup, curry and fresh salad! There are other vegan buffets in town but this one is simply the best! Highly recommended! All you can eat buffet for 30 000 Kips.
All you can eat buffet for 3000 lip with sooo many delicious, healthy options. We have eaten here every day. There is also a vegan coffee shop attached which has almond soy or coconut milk options. Love this place!
Phounsub Vegan Restaurant, Vientiane, Laos, 13th October 2017 Go west along Samsenthai Road from the intersection with Khounboulon Road (that intersection has the Centerpoint Boutique Hotel on one corner, the TMB bank on another, a photocopy store on a third while there is a construction site on the 4th currently). The Bridgestone sign is on the right side of Sansenthai about 100m from the intersection just described. Turn down the small side street on the right and walk about 100m. Reunion café is on the right and Phounsub is on the left. Phounsub’s buffet is very good and sufficiently different from the one at Khouadin/Kuadin vegetarian restaurant. Perhaps fewer dishes but perhaps higher quality (or so we perceived them) – more whole vegetables rather than being more cut up or mushy. Restaurant very popular including with locals but dishes are replaced (at least while we were there) as they are depleted. At just 25,000 kip/person probably the best value in Vientiane.
I was there a long time ago, it was the only restaurant in Laos that I got a chance to experience a proper local food (and not only Laap), It was so good!!
