Arrival in port moniz after a taxi ride from sao vincente. the hotel was quite empty, but after looking at the pictures of eating outside in the other facilities wanted somewhere different. staff very friendly helpful. had a lunch menu that was delicious. excellent value for money. would definitely recommend.
Starter: soup tastless ; garnelen cocktail. to small garnel and garnel on toast, very tasty: main course chicken with a filling of garnelen. very tasty and bark with datum sauce. ... the chicken was in order and the bark was in order. the date sauce. was not in order. we know that the cook uses a package of oxtailsoup to get some taste to its sauce. in Northern Europe we would say 'too much maggi ́ you could only taste some dates when you were happy to have one on the teller. I'm sorry, not good! fries should bluish and wagly, the sweet were not al dente, but more or less warm and raw. very moderate and for 4 people we paid 80 euro. with 4 glasses whip. all on madeira too expensive
