Very busy, very authentic, speedy service, genuine food, incredible prices. We were dropped for lunch on a tour. As this was a busy weekend day, finding a table in Santana turned out to be a challenge. This place had 1 table left and we had...to make a run for it. The menu was cut down to a few basic typically regional dishes but boy...WHAT dishes. We had the cozido (see pictures) and almost died trying to finish is all! (The tray you see was for 2 persons). The wine? Great homemade wine from the region. Desserts and coffe? Up to par. Don't miss out on this one.
Local, rustic, loud, not very clean restaurant where our guide took the whole group. we had a set menu with drinks included. soup was bland. Crabfish was lukewarm and had disgusting teig and artificial sauce on it. and half. ! bananen the only ok product was the Maracuja/Passion fruit puddim, delicious. 1 for this, and 1 for fast service (but of course not very attentive) recommend this restaurant not and would not come voluntarily.
Lunch for 8: the ofenpizza are delicious, and the duck rice is amazing. perfect for a quick lunch after visiting santana.
This place runs largely as a tour group Stopover-Lunchplatz and makes a roaring trade. eating was sufficient, not very good, but a lot of it, including wine and water. from any reason we were not served to a promised suppenant starter and we were ignored by the employees when we asked. probably no place where I would stop my own choice, but it fulfilled its purpose on a day tour.
