The alternative restaurant we had chosen did not meet our expectations, so we decided to go back to Patagonia Restaurant, our first choice. The Hotel was reopened in 1993, so interior design appears a little outdated. However, the hotel is very well maintained bearing in mind it has been almost 25 years since re-opening. It is also a shame that windows are so small. It is difficult to enjoy those breathtaking views while seated. After all, if you plan to visit LLao Llao, you most probably expect to enjoy the view. I understand that probably the façade had to be kept intact, but I am sure such a big hotel has rooms with larger windows. Winter garden restaurant at the same hotel is not an option if you are not happy with a fixed price menu.Music and volume were appropriate for the time of day and the room ambiance. Table was set with care. Staff was very well trained and attentive to every request.Food was excellent. We do congratulate the Chef. We had trout empanadas as hors-d'oeuvre and pasta as main dish. Best empanadas we ever had. Only me had wine, so I order by the glass. Wine by the glass offer was also good.Dessert was excellent too. Relationship between price and food quality seems adequate. If interior design and view options were improved, relationship would be more than fair.It is worth visiting. Not as an everyday option if you are on a budget!
Excelente a todo nivel:el paisaje, la atención,la comida . festejamos un cumpleaños y el personal hizo todo para que pudiésemos celebrarlo. El hotel Llao Llao es un imperdible si se visita Bariloche. Great place to go to, wonderful landscape, excellent food and great service . We were celebrating a birthday and staff helped us even with cake! Llao Llao hotel and resort is a must while visiting Bariloche.
The hotel is a must see in Bariloche. The route is worth itself. Made reservations for seven for the afternoon tea at the Cafe Patagonia. The place is beautiful, with an awesome view of the Lake and mountains. But the service was very desappointing considering the price we paid and the poor assortment of food they provided as a buffet. If you feel like visiting there I recomend not to reserve the buffet service. It is defenitely not worth it.Order items from the menu. The visit is worth it due to the place and landscape though.
We enjoyed mushroom soup (tasty but very salty), tomato soup (excellent) and a wonderful bread basket. The lamb entrée, and tenderloin goulash with spaetzle were both very good. Service was attentive. English menus are available.I would eat here again. If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.
Fuimos a merendar para conocer el emblemático hotel. La verdad nos mandaron a este restaurant. No dice nada... caro... calidad normal. Sirve para conocer. Igual en la puerta medio que te filtran diciéndote qué hay mucha gente. Pasamos y no había casi nadie! Queríamos ir al lobby bar que tiene una mejor vista pero es solo con reservas. Es un estilo que te tiene que gustar. Personalmente lo que no me gusto es que es un lugar que tiene puntas de ciervo y sillas de piel de animal. No volvería.
