I traveled with my partner and his family and we made an unpromptu stop in parmigianos to dinner. Actually, there are 4 different restaurants that share an inn and waiter. while we have ordered all menus, I can only talk about my meal. but first. to be clear, we had a nice time. the musician made the evening. it was my father on the birthday of the law and the musician played a lot of Colombian melodies he and most of the table new and sang together. it was actually work to pick up and go. As for my meal, I ordered the chicken lasagne. without further description, I think it is safe to say most people would expect a traditional lasagne with huh instead of bark. what was presented came in a bowl and more similar suppe. it was in the round a large bowl of saw and cheese and somewhere in all this cream was the actual lasagne. I am all for creative presentations, but if they order chicken lasagne (without other description) I don't think they expect to get something that looks like a cream stew. my other complaining is that we were a group of 12 so the bill was big. they are not set up on a computer system and we were told if we were paid with a credit card that they must go back and separate the items with their respective restaurant and then the fee 3 or 4 times run a fee for each restaurant. Apart from that, the service was good. the musician excellent. great place for large groups.
I was travelling with my partner and his family and we made an impromptu stop into Parmigiano's for dinner. Actually it's different restaurants sharing a courtyard and waitstaff. While we ordered off all the menu's, I can only talk about my meal. First however,...to be clear we had a nice time. The musician made the evening. It was my father in law's birthday and the musician was playing a lot of Colombian tunes which he and most of the table new and sang along with. It was actually work to get everyone to get up and leave. Regarding my meal I ordered the Chicken lasagna. Without any further description, I think it safe to say most people would expect a traditional lasagna with chicken instead of beef. What was presented came in a bowl and more resembled soup. It was basically a big bowl of cream and cheese and somewhere in all that cream was the actual lasagna. I'm all for creative presentations but if you order chicken lasagna (with no other description) I don't think you expect to receive something that looks like a cream stew. My other complaint is that we were a group of so the bill was large. They aren't set up on a computer system and we were told if we paid with a credit card that they would have to go back and separate the items with their particular restaurant and then run the charge or times one charge for each restaurant. Aside from that the service was good. The musician excellent. Great venue for big groups.
Just save time and money and go somewhere else... service is OK, but the food is bad bad baaaaad, ambiance just neh, and most restaurants here in Villa de Leyva will make you happier. This was a waste of my money tbh.
