Tacuba 16 - Villa de Leiva

We came by a Monday and looked for a place to lunch. the small cozy terrace place next to the main square is very welcoming and the reception was friendly. quesedillas with huh (tasty) and with lachs (salty) it was, but only after we...afteros with delicious fresh house made guacamole. a safe Mexican bet.

We were glad to discover this little gem among other restaurants in a garden. it's hard to see from the road. we had a burrito with all flesh and fixations on the side. there were dogs at our feet ready to help with the left. the bill came in a sweet little box.

We visited this restaurant because it location looked very nice and we liked some Mexican foods as a variety to eat. unfortunately the eating was a disappointment; the taste was not good and the kitchen looked scary. the price is too expensive. we would. do not recommend this place. we have eaten a lot of Mexican food.

On the town square in Villa de Leyva, tucked away in a delightful courtyard garden. We were greeted by our charming young host Zeus, who made the best margaritas this side of the black stump. He was great helping us through the menu and very accommodating. Food was fresh & delicious in a very relaxed atmosphere.

The dish that I ordered was really poor, I ordered Flautas al pastor and I got 3 really crunchy flautas lettuce and some mozzarella cheese , a small spoon of guacamole, the guacamole could be better ... and the meat was not really tasty ... I will not go back there
