They have a very large indoor smoking room if you smoke. Plenty of TV 's. It has a bit of the locals feeling but a lot of dive bars are like that.
Food was plain with no flavor at all. Very bad service and only one bartender that was busy. Noisy drunks at noon.
7 of us went out for a fun Sunday for one of our birthdays. Walking into the Sports Corner we were greet with 5 or 6 people sitting on one side of the bar just staring at us. I am guessing they were the regulars and were uncomfortable with new faces. The Bar smelled of sewer gas, which is like smelling the bathroom after someone who had a bad stomach ache comes out. We decided not to sit at the bar but go into the back area to shoot a couple games of pool. We chose to play some music on the jukebox. 2 dollars for two songs. About 15 or 20 minutes later we decide to play more music. Walked over to the jukebox again to find a handwritten note taped to the jukebox on an 11×18 sheet of paper stating that the jukebox can no longer be played during the Nascar races. Not feeling welcome we went back to finish the pool game to amd have fun on our own. One of us then went to the bar to get another drink and someone asked her when we were leaving. Not sure if it was the bar tender, owner or a regular. Obviously were not welcome. I will not go back to that bar.
Went here on a Sunday. It was not too crowded, which was great. The food was delicious.
