Wok This Way - Village of Trumansburg

**Warning for Vegans:** The staff informed me that there is only one dish that can be made vegetarian or vegan: mixed vegetables with tofu in white wine sauce. Unfortunately, it was the blandest food I've ever tasted. I would only recommend this place if Atlas Bowl burned down and you couldn't afford to drive to Ithaca. Be careful with your choices; they mentioned that everything else on the vegetable section of the menu contains oyster sauce, making it unsuitable for vegetarians. This is the only dish in which they can omit that ingredient. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and openly discussed their food's shortcomings. I haven't had Chinese food this disappointing since my time in Milwaukee.

I ordered vegetable lo mein, but the server rang it up as chicken lo mein and even referred to it as chicken lo mein when she handed it to me. After inspecting the dish, I realized it contained chicken and sent it back, informing her of the mistake. Initially, she agreed to have it remade. However, she later returned to my table and insisted that the meat was not chicken, but egg. Feeling embarrassed, I reluctantly accepted her explanation, but I knew it wasn't egg—it was definitely chicken.

We found ourselves in town after a very tough week and decided to go out for dinner. It was absolutely fantastic! Everything was fresh and delicious, and there were plenty of vegetables in our entrees, making us feel like we were taking care of ourselves. Thank you!

Delicious Asian food. Large portions and priced reasonable.Very kind and friendly staff, no problem honoring simple requests due to dietary needs. Try the beef and veggies, loads of veggies , super tender beef all in a very tasty sauce !!!

So good! Hidden treasure! Wish I had photographed my dish! Ordered chicken with garlic sauce. Came with a good amount of steamed rice, sliced peppers, julienned celery, broccoli florets, julienned carrots, water chestnuts, the MOST delicious sauce....yummy! I couldn't eat it fast enough! My plate was $11. Ttly worth it! Tiny little hole in the wall place...but you really HAVE TO try it!
