The Vining Palace

If you haven't visited in a while, you definitely owe it to yourself to check this place out. They renovated a few years ago, updated the property, and even changed the name by dropping "Purple." I tried the burgers, and she had the fried chicken, and I'm honestly not sure which one was better. It's worth the trip!

CHICKEN! The fried pickles were a delightful surprise for me—they were fantastic. The boiled potatoes were just as delicious as always, as was the chicken. The new owners have infused the place with fresh energy and excitement while still maintaining its charming, local, and nostalgic vibe. Long live the Vining Palace!

The chicken was tasty, and the Walleye Sandwich was outstanding. The new owners have done a great job tidying up the restaurant, and the overall dining experience has significantly improved. I look forward to returning soon. - RJD

We brought our neighbors of Ottertail, MN for the first time in the palace. The service was excellent and the chicken and the burgers were very good. Desta and Kylie were very friendly and offer great service. I was beautifully rebuilt and looks great. I highly recommend it!! I also recommend the fried green beans!!

Loved the atmosphere and the owner was very fun to banter with.
