Alice is friendly and is an excellent cook. She speaks English well and loves to chat with customers. The lunch we had was an interesting selection of local food, enjoyed on an outdoor terrace. A great stopover place, but only for lunch! She is not open for dinner.
Chez Alice is no ordinary French cafe. From the original old stone village house of her grandfather, whether you sit inside in the cosy "cave" or outdoors on the large beautiful terrace with rustling trees and an old stone fountain (where you can refill your glass with "potable" water) Alice happily serves her daily passion of wonderful fresh salad surprises and a glass of wine from a local organic biodynamic vineyard. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater you will not be disappointed! One day I counted 14 different foods on my plate! Oh and not to forget - your choice of many flavors of delicious ice cream desert....and perhaps a little espresso so you can linger just a little longer....This has truly been one of the most delightful experiences of my stay!

Contrary to previous comments, my husband and I found Alice to be most unfriendly and not accommodating at all. We arrived after a long bike ride expecting to at least be able to buy drinks. We were told that she was full and too busy to serve. If you value service, avoid at all costs.
