Amazing bartender super nice. The bale of hay saloon has a far worse atmosphere. I choose the pioneer bar every time it's far better. Kid-friendliness: Soda and candy for the kids Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went in to get a drink. Sat at the bar with my SERVICE DOG and was told I can’t be in there. I told him it’s a service dog and he said I have to sit by the door. That is completely illegal. I will not ever spend money in this place. I left. Will not be back. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is the local place to be! The ambience is killer if you're looking for the local small town Montana feel. Billiards, pool hall, jukebox, and locals. This is the place to be. Would highly recommend it if you're in Virginia city
