La Gordita Mexican Food - Vista

One of my favorite restaurants in vista. I haven’t been in over 2 months it started to become inconsistent and the ladies at the cashiers are often in a bad mood. They’ve messed up my orders regularly and when I tell them they get upset, I try not to complain… but that’s been my experience. Ordering over the phone is a hassle, I was put on hold for 25 min and they hung up on me. If you can get over all those things then, I recommend it!

The waitress Aurora was the worst. She had a terrible attitude from the moment I arrived, ignoring me and forgetting my drink order. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, she brushed it off and passed the phone to someone else. The service at this place is appalling - I would not recommend it to anyone. They sell you on one thing and don't deliver on their promises.

The carne asada burrito at this restaurant is enormous. The soda machine is located behind the counter.

I only tried a few soft chicken tacos and a hard shell taco, but they were amazing! I will definitely be returning.

The city I love Mexican food. these were deep fried, but could not enjoy the rancid oil. I could still taste it. next time I'd try something else.
