L'Esparat - Vogue

Woke up early on a Sunday and took a an hour long drive with the whole family for lunch, because so much is closed on Sundays in the Provence area. This place advertised open, also has good reviews on Trip Advisor as well as Vogüé...is a beautiful town. Place was busy but a few tables free. We could not get a table because we where 6 but he “only” had a table for 4 people. We were open to split up and sit on separate tables but there was no interest on the waiters side to help us out. So we had to leave. Really disappointed.

So good we went twice in a week! Simple menu which is actually a blessing! Great food, great staff and great location We will be back!

The new summer menu was excellent, we had the pork and duck as mains, part of the 28eu menu, all the courses were delicious. Their top red at 29eu, a Shiraz Merlot was really good. Very reasonably priced, total bill 85eu, which for the quality...of the food and the location, we thought was good value.

We arrived after walking round the castle, hot and hungry we made very welcome with a caraf of cold water and a fan for my mother. The dish of the day was a starter main course all on one plate. The starter was a...fish mouse then a chicken dish. The wine was lovely and we were able to find it in the supermarket. The deserts were outstanding. Best service in the ardeche

Si vous avez l'occasion de visiter ce très jolie village (nommé plus beau village de France en 2016).Vous devez vous arrêter à L'Esparat, ce charmant restaurant possède une terrasse très accueillante et un personnel qui ne l'est pas moins.Dans votre assiette, des produits de qualités et de saison. Pour notre part nous avons choisi le Carpaccio de Boeuf et un pavé de saumon à l'unilatéral, un régal.Le tarif est raisonnable et pleinement justifié.Merci pour l'accueil et pour les saveurs.
