I was here one night, including breakfast. this place was once a youth hostel. the rooms are small and simple, but clean and exactly what they need. the owners are all very friendly. the chef is also welcoming and beautiful to speak. his dogs are the kindest I've met so far. the location and walks in nature gave me rest and a real feeling of holiday. breakfast was self-service, with many fresh and vegan options. they even had milk! the brot comes from a nearby bakery, asking them about the situation if they want to taste the best brot (or have breakfast). I recommend this place in any case for its good eating, friendly people and quiet atmosphere. updated from previous review on 2018-10-21

Fantastic food and coffee to say goodbye to a Micheline star. beautiful environment. charming building. and wonderful friendly and helpful staff.

This is Hotel California, you can check out any time you like but you can never leave! I will recommend everybody who gets the opportunity, to pay this magical house a visit. This is also where Voss Kaffibrenneri has it's base, and every morning the smell of roasted coffee fills the air with promises of a good day!
