Haliburton's Soul Food - Waco

Don't be intimidated by this place! If you enjoy delicious food and good company, this is the spot for you. Mr. Halliburton is a passionate chef who provides excellent customer service. I ordered the cauliflower potato salad as a side and was truly impressed. While I think a homemade mayo potato salad would be fantastic instead of the pre-made version, I was still quite satisfied. I wish I could visit on a Friday or Sunday, as those are his specialty days featuring dishes like oxtail and blackfoot.

Delicious soul food prepared from scratch. I tried the Smothered Pork Chops, and they were incredibly tender, practically falling off the bone!

The food was so delicious that I returned just two days later. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking. This is going to be my favorite restaurant for life. I think I'm in love!
