Taqueria El Crucero - Waco

The food is fresh and delicious. There is only one ride through and they only accept cash, but I think the food is phenomenal. There is always a long line and it moves fast.

My favorite food in Waco. Amazing pork in verde sauce. Get a pupusa on the side! Corn tortillas are the best I've ever had.

Fabulous food! Hole in the wall is accurate, but you don 't go to a taqueria (Mexican fast food) necessarily for the atmosphere--it 's about the food! I visited Waco from Wisconsin, and went here based on its 4.6 star rating. I agree with 4.6! I had the Oso Enchiladas (pork with green sauce). Excellent! Their tortillas are hand-made. No chips and salsa, but food is muy sabor !

I have not ever had a bad experience at this adorable little restaurant! Everything is ALWAYS fresh and made to order. They literally have everything my family wants when ordering. Burritos, tacos, gorditas, papusas, EVERYTHING. Staff is always friendly and the fact that they’re family is the cutest thing ever. Be prepared for long lines and make sure and bring cash. Other than that, WELL worth the small trip to experience authentic home cooked food
