Contribuisci feedbackWas not impressed with the greeting staff members, she was rude and off putting! She felt as cold as the venue. Smiles are free! Starters- the nicest item was the very expensive olives. Main- the chicken was so dry that it must have been killed in the 90's! The lamb was the texture of an old fashion strew without the flavour. Only nice items was the panna cotta. The chef checked my 40 year old chicken and rolled his eyes. Not explanation or a free coffee. The important part of dinner is a nice drink to go with it. We got the smallest glasses I've ever had a spirit in, then they put 5 normal size ice cubes in it. So in the end I paid $15 for 100 ml vodka and cranberry. Would not recommend it and will not return, very disappointed in management staff, quality of food and price. Do you get a free caravan for that price???
We spent two nights at this resort and enjoyed a meal at the restaurant on each night. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the ones which we could select from. The food was also excellent when we were lucky enough to be there on steak night: the sirloin was superb. What's more the accommodation was first class. Having travelled as far north as Port Douglas this year we did not stay anywhere that was nearly as good as Mitchelton.
