Da Babooze - Wailuku

I had a fantastic experience! I visited Maui for the first time with some local friends, and the staff and locals made me feel like I've been part of the community for years.

Best bar on the island. Been coming here since I landed off the plane 3 years ago. Family oriented and treated like it. Great pool crowd and friendly all the time. :

As someone who recently moved to the area, it’s a shame that I was immediately discriminated against at the door. I came with a group and the bartender immediately assumed I was from a group that came previously and turned us away. As a local bar in Wailuku, I suggest not posting yourself online as new people or visitors will be highly disappointed when you turn them as well. Don’t support this business and go any where else. As far as previous reviews, it’s probably from others who were lucky enough to get in which makes their rating system biased and inaccurate.

This place is weird and rude. They can’t decide if they want to be a legitimate business. If you are not a local stay away. If businesses don’t want customers from all walks of life, then just throw private parties. Will never spend my money there again.

Best bar in Maui. Friendly, chill and fun environment. If your looking for a late night bar this is a great choice!
