Hālani - Waimea

Terrific experience. One member of our party can't eat gluten and they made it super simple: everything on the menu can be made gluten free. Only minor negative is I wish it was located closer to the beach. It would have made the views better. Otherwise, nothing to fault.

We absolutely loved Halani and it is one of our fave restaurants on the island now (caliber of food is canoehouse, ulu and browns level . It doesn't have the sunset view that other places have but what it lacks in sunset it makes up for with amazing ambiance — its live music and Polynesian dancing as well as gorgeous foliage. Service is friendly but super on top of things and our server Coco (I forget her full name but remember what she said her niece or nephew calls her! was the best server we had this trip (and we made it out to pretty much all of the comparable or nicer places . This was the only place aside from our second visit to Ulu, that recognized our 4 year old's birthday and Coco made it a point to learn her name and bring out dessert with a candle. It was the perfect dinner to end our trip. Service and ambiance aside, the food and beverage were top notch. We had the Parker house rolls, mushroom flatbread, ahi tuna, ribeye, along with ube bread pudding and macnut crunch cake and literally everything was so delectable. The cocktails (Maitai, mojito and spicy Rita were also perfectly made with the spicy cocktail being the only one spicy enough for my husband and he's had one at every restaurant that had one . Highly recommend this gem at Mauna Lani and we'll be back!

Delicious ahi dinner with great accommodations for my gluten free allergy. We love to have Ashley as our waitress as she is very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu! Great food and great service. One of our favorite places with live music too!

This was our second visit during our vacation. The food and service are always excellent and the sunset view was spectacular. It was an amazing experience for our grandson and his girlfriend.

We had consistently excellent food and service. Server and hostess were extremely helpful. Our salads were very good and we both enjoyed delicious entree of Kompachi which was prepared well and had an excellent presentation.
