First of all, the place gets very crowded and it is necessary to make a reservation if you want to dine on a Sunday. Secondly, the restaurant is popular because the food is delicious, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Most of our group was too full for dessert, but the one person who did have dessert said it was very good. The carvery option is delicious and fresh, and they also cater to vegetarians with options like nut roast and vegetarian gravy. I ordered the fish special and it was fantastic. I will definitely return.
The prawn cocktail was underwhelming, but the pork belly and gammon steak main courses were outstanding. I left feeling completely satisfied. I would definitely return.
