Dirty entrance, dirty toilets (male/female closed not working) so had to use disabled. Dirty tablets Staff are not interested and the girl behind till didn’t seem like she had any personality and wasn’t very good with customer service or could even crack a smile. Walked in at 1155 to be told by I guess the owner, we are not open til 12 please could back later.. 5 minutes we couldn’t just sit down? Why leave the door open you moron? Food.. was expecting crinkle chips but got some dry straw like things. Burgers are child size. Came in a dirty red basket. Burger was very strange, and for £6.50! Not really that tasty. Mac Donald’s or burger kind next door would have been a better option. Highly recommend to avoid this place but judging by the lack of people in this establishment I cannot see it surviving for long knocking out this poor quality dross. You have been warned!

We visited here for a family lunch. We placed our order, only to be told that two of the lunch box dishes were unavailable. When the food arrived, it was no different to any other fast food restaurant. The chips weren’t the most appetising that I have tasted and the chicken nuggets were bland, so much so that my children wouldn’t even touch them! Being chicken nuggets lovers, I think that says a lot about the food! During our visit, my daughter and I visited the ladies toilets. They were not very clean and there was a funny odour lingering in the bathroom. Would we visit again? I’m certainly not in a rush to go back. The food isn’t enough to tempt me back anytime soon and the toilets need a good clean.

I went to this restaurant on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The girl working at the checkout was not helpful at all and did not want to explain the menu or prices. As a result, when my order arrived, it was incorrect and I was charged for items I did not order. The burgers were small and lacked cheese, and the limited sauce options were disappointing. The popcorn chicken and fries were decent but the portions were very small. The manager gave us a refund for the mistaken charges in 20 pence coins.

We often order takeout from Jacobs when we want to indulge but can't agree on what to eat. The burgers are freshly prepared and tasty, never dry or undercooked. The staff are friendly and accommodating of any special requests or dietary restrictions. It's not fancy dining, but Jacobs knows how to make a good burger.

This restaurant is not good. Despite its attractive branding, it does not live up to expectations. The smell of grease is overwhelming, the food is even worse than McDonald's, and service is extremely slow. They don't even serve what is listed on the menu and seem to think it's acceptable. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place.
