The cocktails remind me of the ones you would find at a budget all-inclusive hotel, all made with inexpensive flavored syrups. Ropergate in Pontefract now boasts some very impressive cocktail bars, so I believe this establishment needs to step up their game and start making fresh cocktails to stay competitive. Additionally, I suggest lowering the lighting as it was so bright it felt like I needed sunglasses on to see.
This restaurant is always a fantastic place to visit. I love how friendly and welcoming the staff is, and they always cater to our needs without any issues.
The restaurant was not worth the money, with very poor service. We waited 40 minutes just to get a drink, and there were 22 of us on a work party. The food came out at different times, so we were all eating at different times. We had to complain to the management about the service. I asked a lady 5 times for a drink. Overall, it was not worth the money at all. I'm not sure if it was because there were 22 of us, but I won't be going back. Sorry.
Gorgeous as ever in every way ... except a tiny groan....my poached eggs were over cooked
Took my son for lunch, never again!!!! Ordered salt and pepper chicken for my son,and for myself Yorkshire pudding wrap with seasonal vegetables. 1.5 hours later it arrived Frozen chicken bites not strips) with a few chips and a small jug with curry sauce probably granules mixed with hot water) on a small plate. My Yorkshire pudding wrap was frozen Yorkshire pudding no problems with it being frozen) filled with processed packed beef and chopped red onions in gravy and 3 roast potatoes suppose this was the seasonal vegetables . Gave us a small discount due to the wait , but won't be going for good again in a hurry.
