It doesn't look like much from the outside or inside really. It's a small restaurant that serves up some Latin American foods. I heard from the cook/single person show that the owner is from Guatemala. Super neat! I love Latin food and I am Hispanic myself. So naturally, I was excited. We ordered up some tacos and pupusas and took them home on this cold day. We were the only ones there while we waited for our food to be made. The cook was a one-person show and was so kind and explained everything. I got a chicken, two bean tacos, and a bean and cheese pupusa. I LOVED the pupusa! It was delicious! I will be back for them. My nana is from El Salvador and these just remind me of her so much. And they were just good. As for the tacos. Well everything seemed made fresh and even the tortilla seemed handmade, but they were okay. My bean ones were a bit boring but they were good. I was hungry and they were perfect. But nothing overly fancy or to go back for. The chicken ones were good, but unremarkable really. If you are in the mood for tacos in Wakefield, they were good. The location is small and intimate. There is greater outdoor seating. The parking behind it is a bit shabby. Looks like people live behind it that don't mind a messy look. But not to mind that, it's good food. I may definitely try some other things here. But come for the pupusas. They are the ultimate comfort food!

Hand made traditional corn tortillas and the most delicious duck tacos and quesadillas from Ixim Cafe Bistro; which just became the most favorite taco place ever. Take a trip to wakefield and have a taco trio. Simply delicious

Great little place. They work hard to bring quality and fresh local ingredients. They menu is stellar. They make their own natural colas that I would certainly recommend trying it!Will come here again soon

The best authentic tacos we have had in Canada! I can still taste them right now. The sauces are incredible and also you have to try the home made strawberry and rhubarb soda's. Try and order ahead because these are made fresh!
