Taheri's Mediterranean - Walnut Creek

Our server, Velma, was very personable and anticipated our every need. Our Greek salad, cranberry salad, vegetable lasagnas and creme brûlée were delicious!

I am a frequent customer of this restaurant. I was disappointed that I did not receive OpenTable points for my reservation, but I still love Taheri's. Unfortunately, the parking validation did not work for me as well.

The service was not as cheerful as usual when the female owner is present. This time, a male was handling things and he was just decent. The salmon was a bit dry, similar to my last visit. However, the mussels and clams in broth were consistently delicious. The chicken kabob was also dry. The wine menu could use some updating with fresher options like Chardonnays and newer wines. The decor seemed outdated and could benefit from a thorough cleaning. Despite these minor issues, the restaurant remains a dependable choice for a good meal.

We frequent this restaurant often because they use fresh, organic ingredients. I highly recommend the prawns in curry sauce and the king salmon. During our last visit, my husband enjoyed a massive pork chop. I have brought friends here multiple times and they always leave satisfied.

Taheri's is consistently good. Nice service and people. Portions are nice sized and flavors are balanced.
