We often drove through the restaurant during the day when it was closed and it looked so beautiful and welcoming. So we decided to make reservations. the inner was rather disappointing with simple but safe spaced tables. nothing Italian of it saves for. a few pictures on the wall with Italian motives. it is certainly not Italian run. we ordered both pizzas and shared an appetizer of mushrooms with goat cheese. both pizzas were in the center soggy, but the seafood pizza had a generous amount of different seafood on it. the service was good and friendly and the waitress came after a few minutes to the table to ask if everything was in order when the pizza was served. eating was edible, but not very good and the atmosphere feels closer to a fast eating place.
We were asked to take our daughter out when she became a bit unsettled due to a long wait for an ice cream. When I suggested that maybe bringing the ice cream would have calmed her down, I was abruptly asked to take her out....We paid and left as in many years in dining out we have never been treated this way. Food was below average for an Italian restaurant abroad. We will never visit again and I do strongly advise against it if you are looking for a family friendly experience.
Really friendly and welcoming staff who were personable as well as being efficient. Extensive menu choices as well as daily chef specials. Generous servings which for us was too much but would obviously suit people with more of an appetite. The main course came with...a variety of hot vegetables and a bit of salad...it was great to have a variety of vegetables on the plate but we felt that the salad was not really needed too. My swordfish steak was succulent and delicious.
If they are authentic experience after an Italian eating, then stay away from this place. Eating was badly cooked and tasleless and it would be an insult for Italian cuisine, call it Italian. of course not from Italians.
