We had always been disappointed with our previous restaurant choices, but Miraj completely changed that. The curries were amazing and the aloo was the best I've ever had. We searched high and low for a new regular curry spot after moving, and as soon as we tried Miraj, we knew we had found something special.
I recently moved to putney after having lived in fulham for many years. as originally from the western midlands I am especially fussy when it comes to Indian outliers. we had one of miraj for the first time yesterday evening and it was excellent. you could say with every mouthful that you had made it with love and care from a family business. we had to start the tandoori chicken wings, which deserves a special mention. they were excellent. the rest of the food was as impressive and the spicy were on the place. it is rare to find a takeaway in sw london who has no fear of making a Madras taste like a madras! I went to pick up the pickup as it is only on the road from our new apartment and the greeting I received was great. warm and friendly and nothing was too much effort, one last minute saag paneer added to the order. I will come back with thanks miraj.
Shocking bad eating and service. bajjis were old, cheerful stale and spiced under. the quality of the huh was bad, the prawn puri was the worst thing I've ever tried to completely slander. When I complained, I was taken into the grip and then the lady I spoke to. the owner/manager was extremely contested. when I told her that above, she told me that this was mine and that she won't do anything about it. she told me that they cook the two on the day before and they cool (which she thought was good, that they should be freshly roasted without doubt) and that the dishes are world famous. in the round they are con artists who do not know how to make real Indian food. I wouldn't have disturbed if the woman I spoke to was not so rude. just to avoid it not eating so much better out there
Actually I didn’t eat here or order take away In fact although I live in Putney , i haven’t noticed it before as I live the other side and have other Indian options But I had a car accident just outside and whilst I was...waiting for the recovery lorry the owner came out to see how I was and invited me in for a very nice cup of tea in the warm . Excellent customer service ! So I will definitely be ordering delivery at some point in the near future !
