Madem Espresso - Wangaratta

This fantastic café roasts its own coffee beans and offers a menu with dietary requirements clearly marked, as well as plenty of dairy-free and vegan choices. The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, and there is a charming park across the street if you prefer takeout. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the café is adorned with many lovely house plants, including a flourishing Monstera plant.

Just what Wangaratta needed. A local roaster. Food is good. Coffee is even better. If you're heading to the alpine region, stop by here for food or a coffee/pastry pick up.

Definitely worth the trip. We were staying in Wangaratta for a few nights and luckily, this restaurant was nearby. It was a great find for a Sunday morning. The service was excellent, the food was delicious (aside from a couple of unexpected nuts in a dish, which were promptly and professionally dealt with), and most importantly, the coffee was really good. I highly recommend this place.

First time visit at this establishment and was pleasantly surprised at the variety, quality, and prices of food on offer. The coffee was excellent and ground on site. Will certainty go again. While located in the suburban Wangaratta, it is well worth the extra few minutes travel from the CBD as there is plenty of parking space available and pleasant open surrounds.

Went with my fiancee to have some lunch, the atmosphere was super cozy, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bao burgers were soo good Would definitely go back and definitely recommending it to others
