Squeeze Cafe - Wappingers Falls

Very confused. Here on a Thursday at 5:15pm. Google says open until 8, door says open until 6, but the place looks like it went out of business a week ago...

The young ladies at the counter were friendly, and pleasant. Place is bright fresh and sunny! The menu was huge., many items to choose from. Great selection of items! I asked if organic fruits and vegetables were used for the smoothies, and juices. The young woman quickly replied, yes. I personally would find it surprising if they in fact do use organic ingredients and not have that written anywhere on the menu or signage. Not sure if I believe it. I ordered a panini. It came with fries. It was clear to me that the cooking oil was not hot enough, as my fries were totally grease soaked and also undercooked. My panini was supposed to have chipotle mayo, yet I didn't taste a bit of chipotle. I asked for cheddar instead of provolone, and they put shredded cheddar instead of sliced. Portion size was adequate, but the flavors just weren't there, bread was dried up and crispy. Maybe I'll go back for a smoothie or fresh squeezed juice, but I wouldn't trust that the food would be good.

I urge everyone to support this wonderful local restaurant! The serve only the freshest Farm-to-table dishes and delicious healthy smoothies and shakes. They have an incredibly varied menu, and evrey new item I have tried has been delicious!

I've only been once for a quick smoothie. Just placed the order and saw the cashier prepare the drink. It's chunky, unblended and there's chunks of greens and fruit that I have to chew. Think a gazpacho or oatmeal consistency. Simply paying attention to the fact that it was not blended or liquid enough would've left it a little longer and done well. I didn't think quality was a concern. I was told $5, given $13 in change. Then, when asked about the price a second time, she said $6 and I said OK well you still didn't give correct change... She look bothered and then took a dollar out the tip jar to give me correct change that was still less than she initially said I'd be owed. Between the flavor, consistency and wrong change, wasn't an experience that screamed come back soon.
