Obviously to cater for the movie crowd. The two pasta dishes we ordered were superb..el Dente just as we have experienced in good restaurants in Italy. The sizing of the dishes is amazing, we ordered large and they were so large we could not finish them and we are big eaters. They offered to pack the left overs for us to take home which we did..to good to put in the rubbish.
We enjoyed a great evening at the movies and finished the night off with an outstanding meal at this restaurant. My wife had the Barramundi which was cooked to perfection and i had chicken parma which was moist and covered in just the right amount of tomato salsa and cheese. The servings of both meals was more than adequate. The price of the wine by the bottle is very acceptable.Next visit we will try the special 2 course meal for $29.
Looking refreshed after the refurb. Staff were outstanding in looking after us in a very friendly and professional way and handling a difficult situation which arose with one of our guests. Food was very tasty with huge portions of the pasta and the barramundi was delicious. we will certainly being goingback soon
Our party of 6 all enjoyed our food (with one exception) but unfortunately one of us had a health complication before she could eat her helping. The staff could not have been more helpful. Our sick friend needed to be taken home and the staff helped by packing up a doggy bag, reminded us of her wine and escorted her out of the restaurant to the car which I drove up to the entrance. When I returned from taking our friend home, they reheated my meal without being asked and without over-cooking it in any way. We took advantage of the special for a two course meal $29. The entrée was much more interesting than its description - "Sausage" turned out to be a delicious Italian cacciatore teamed with a not too salty feta and pitted olives. Three of us chose the barramundi and two chose the pasta for the main meal and we all loved our choices. We all said that we would come again.
As we were waiting for a movie we decided to grab some drinks with friends. We were greeted at the door and shown to the lounge area where we had our orders taken. Service was great and the area was comfortable and easy to talk. I definitely think it's a great place for a quiet drink. Stubbies of beer, served in a glass ranged from $7.5 - $9 and glasses of wine were around $7.Will try having a meal also for our next visit. Serves looked large and lots of people even coming in for takeaway food (pizzas) which is a good sign.
