Krispy Kreme - Washington

I usually love the donuts, both the regular and the special varieties. The cinnamon roll donuts are my absolute favorite! However, the new Halloween donuts are very disappointing. They seem like a last-minute idea, both in appearance and taste. Also, the pretzels go stale quite quickly.

During our recent visit, they weren't making fresh donuts, but I usually manage to catch them in the act! My kids always enjoy watching the donuts being made. Krispy Kreme will forever be my go-to for donuts!

I haven't visited in a while because most of the specialty donuts are usually sold out by the time I get there in the late morning. Since I live 45 minutes away, I usually stop by only if I'm in the area. On this visit, the employee who helped me was pleasant and friendly, although he didn't initiate any conversation or mention the daily specials. Since it was February 22, 2022, I already knew about the special from the email I received. Overall, it's Krispy Kreme—what else is there to say?

Oh boy, what a find . It has been years since I had seen a doughnut place, making the doughnuts, in house. They were so very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere was definitely family-oriented. Mostly all kids we're waiting on people and they did a good job, of it. You could stand at the glass windows and watch from the mixer to the racks, the filled and the glazed, they were right there, so yummy. You can watch them get glazed or filled or sprinkled, then boxed or put on the selves. It definitely the high light of my morning. Thank-you, Krispy Kreme.

They weren't making doughnuts that day, but it was interesting to see the machines through the glass.
