La Mesa Mexican Restaurant And Bar

This was my first time ordering pickup from la mesa during lunch. I went inside to pickup my food on my lunch break. A man was taking my payment and was nice but when he sent the young lady to the back to correct the size sauce she had brought out for my order she looked at me and rolled her eyes directly at me. She did this in front of the manager taking my payment. She then proceeded to walk towards the back said ‘oh my god! Ha ha ha’, trying to be sarcastic based on her grin when she looked at me once more after blurting this out. When this happened I looked at the manager, seeing if he was going to say something about her behavior, but he never did. The man was nice but he didn’t handle that situation very well!! I believe the young lady DOESN’T need to be in the customer service/restaurant industry if this is how rude she always is to the customers! I hope she doesn’t treat all of the customers that walk through their doors the same way! I will not be going back to eat there, solely because of the treatment/attitude received Today!!

They served us old, stiff and dry rice. Never eating there again.

Not too bad. Good portion sizes. I liked the salsa better than most places. My girlfriend thinks the exact opposite.

Daaanng that Alhambra plate is killer! I came in here by happenstance, and I 'm glad I did. Waiting on getting a new phone gave me time for dinner. This dish was fajita-ish , but saucy... umami saucy. Go, eat this, and you tell me... oh yeah! The black beans are the best I 've had anywhere, and that includes Puerto Rico!

Held the door open for our family and greeted with a smile. Everything was absolutely wonderful!
