Jim's -b-que - Waskom

This BBQ restaurant serves some of the best fried fish I've ever had! Every dish I've tried here has been outstanding, from the excellent service to the spotless restrooms. It's a welcoming venue with fantastic food!

We ate there a few nights ago everything was great! We had a BBQ sandwich along with 2 pieces of fish. We will be going back again real soon!

Amid all the chaos of COVID, it feels wonderful to return to some sense of normalcy. I recently enjoyed my first sit-down meal in three months at Jim's BBQ, and the food was incredible! I just wish it were located closer to Longview!

While I’m not sure about the quality of the barbecue, this is definitely the place to go if you love fried catfish. I recommend trying it with the Cajun coating—it adds a just-right hint of spice for that distinct Cajun flair. For a roadside eatery, I give it a five out of five.
