China Max - Waterbury

The food is expensive as compare to the rest of the restaurants in row. The chicken that we bought was very hard to chew which means it was either not cooked properly or was very old. Would highly recommend burger king or other restaurant becauase at least, food quality is assured.

I'm not sure what changed since my last visit, but the quality of the food I had this time wasn't up to par. The rice tasted artificial, almost like plastic. I also ordered the orange chicken, but half of the pieces were soggy. I'm not quite sure how chicken can end up that way, but it did. There were only one or two decent pieces in the mix. Unfortunately, later that day my stomach was quite upset. It really didn't meet my expectations at all.

The rice had an unpleasant taste and smell reminiscent of melted plastic, so I ended up throwing my entire dinner away.

The food is consistently delicious every time I visit, even though I don’t go often. I really enjoy it!
