I've been visiting this bar for years, and it never disappoints. The service is always excellent, and they serve the best burgers around.

The Gold Nugget may not be a high-end restaurant, but it offers honest, delicious, and authentic food with a lively and humorous vibe. The meals are straightforward yet fulfilling. Best bar there is in Waunakee. Great burgers made fresh with beef from the butcher down the road. Go on Sunday for a great **** Mary made by Cheryl or Marci. Parking: Parking is slim in most instances out front along the highway. More parking is available in back. Wheelchair accessibility: Not necessarily wheelchair accessibly. I little work would need to be done to get in the establishment. Price per person: $10–20

I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich and it didn't taste special. It just tasted like a cheeseburger with extra cheese. So I feel like the burger cost more than the regular cheeseburger because there was an extra piece of cheese on it. I have no problem paying for extra cheese if I ask for a cheeseburger with extra cheese. And then on top of that I was not asked what kind of cheese I want on it. Price per person: $10–20
