I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I visited with some friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, amazing homemade ice cream, and excellent service. The location and decor are also lovely. This has become my favorite spot for great food and friendly conversation.

I recently started working in this neighborhood and went out for lunch with some coworkers. I absolutely loved my salad and thought it was charming! Today, we were pleasantly surprised when one of your employees came by my salon with some treats for us! I really appreciate the kindness of the staff here, and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best places to unwind with friends or family over coffee or tea. They offer delightful soups (I absolutely love the tomato soup!) and fantastic desserts. The food is excellent, and the service is outstanding. I highly recommend it to everyone!

My daughter Liz and I stopped for a late afternoon lunch during Wausau's Snow Fest, just half a block away. We didn't have time to explore the galleries, but we received a warm welcome from the owner, John Von Slate, and his friendly mother, Shirley, who makes the delicious homemade ice creams (the blackberry and rum cream flavors are a must-try), along with delightful raspberry and apricot pastries. They treated us to generous samples of their rich Italian Meatball soup, which was absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the cloth napkins, tablecloths, and the eclectic decor of the Bistro.
