Applebee's Grill - Wausau

My experience at this restaurant was not terrible, but after seeing the kitchen, I would not eat there again. One of the dishwashers does not ensure that the dishes are clean because he dislikes his job, but the cooks are exceptional. I can also attest that the dishwasher in the evenings is excellent at his job. I had the opportunity to witness everything firsthand, so this review is based on my personal experience without any embellishments.

The food at this restaurant is always delicious. We had a attentive server who checked on us to see if we needed anything.

My group of 6 visited the restaurant later in the evening around 9pm. The service was satisfactory but not exceptional. Our waitress was great, but some other staff members seemed a bit lackluster, making the service slow despite only 10 tables being served. However, my order (grilled chicken salad) was correct and delicious, and everyone else in my group enjoyed their meals as well. Overall, no complaints about the food.

My husband and I went on a Thursday afternoon. Not busy at all. The older waitress seated us and ask if we minded if she vacuumed real quick. I said I didn't mind. But really it could of waited until after she helped us. Then a nice young lady cameby (Juliana). She got our drinks and made sure we were taking care. She was sweet and helpfulness. The spareribs my husbandordered had too many small bones. Not my best experience.

My partner brought me to this restaurant the other day, and we ordered the sirloin steak, four cheese mac with honey pecan chicken, and loaded waffle fry appetizer. The main issue was that we were not told that certain items were unavailable from the menu. When our food arrived, it was all incorrect - incorrect pasta, incorrect side dishes, missing cheese, and more. I don't think we will be returning. The only highlight of the meal was the appetizer.
