Pelican's Snoballs - Waxhaw

This place is amazing! I?ve been to Pelicans in Charlotte and this is just as good, but in a nice, new location near downtown. The ice is the perfect texture: light and fluffy.. As close to freshly fallen snow as humanly possible. Hard to believe it's not the real thing. The flavor selection is extensive, but not absurd. While there are some strange options (toothpaste) almost everything I've tried is delicious. Plus the service is quick and the staff is friendly. It?s a great place to take a bunch of kids, because it?s fast and there?s not a lot of wait time between orders. Nothing worse than one kid getting a treat and the others having to watch while they wait for theirs?.

Upside: Very good desserts! They have a great selection of flavors, and the prices and sizes are well put together. Staff are kind and friendly and helpful. This is a great place for a cold treat. I would recommend this place to anybody who likes ice cream or Italian Ice. Downside: Long waits in between orders. There have been times where I waited up to 20 minutes between orders of only 3-4 people.

Keep thinking about this place even though it's been months since I've been. Every now and then I get a craving for another. Looks like it?s closed for the season. Someday I?ll be back. Even though it?s hard to wait. Yummy days are ahead!

So delicious! My kids had been begging me for FOREVER to get snowballs so we decided to all come try it. SO GOOD! My daughter wanted butterfly kisses because it came with a butterfly gummy. I didn?t think birthday cake flavored ice would be good, but it was! And these servings are huge! Absolutely was not expecting the cuts to be that full. 10/10 recommend!

Great snow cones (large portions of shave ice) with lots of flavors! Good price. Park behind the store, or walk from across the street. It's a Summer business. Closing after Halloween and opening again in March. Go here after eating at Emmet's Restaurant, across the street.
