I felt like we didn’t fit in we are a little more urban as a couple and we are Spanish so I was expecting to be shunned as usual but they were actually nice which I always appreciate. Thanks taphouse
The Taphouse in Wayne is big and clean with comfortable seating. The outdoor dining tent is a great option. The servers are attentive and polite. The online reservation option is helpful when planning ahead. Family friendly. Pros: the pizzas are delicious! We love the extensive tap craft beer selection. The nachos are usually amazing, but have been hit or miss in the last few months. Cons: if you're a fan of wings, this is NOT the place. The portions are small, even for an appetizer. The wings were tiny. I don't enjoy how the sauces accompany the wings rather than arriving pre-tossed. Avoid. Overall, a great experience. Would recommend. A good value for your money, especially when so many places are hit or miss these days.
Decided to give this place a second chance after my previous review (see below). And I’m sad to say nothing has changed. I simplified my order sticking to a burger and fires. To my disappointment, the burger came out like a hockey puck and the fries were hard as a rock. How do you screw up French fries for goodness’s sake. All I can say is that they maintain a strong variety of beer and seltzer. However, I recommend just going to breweries direct. It will save you the inevitable stomach ache later. Absolutely pitiful. I was so excited when I saw the menu but massive disappointed. First, they forgot to put in our order into the system and then I opened the bags. Food was below fast food quality at an above average price. Let the pictures posted speak for themselves. Recommend going to Maggie’s over this heap.
My girlfriend and I had a great experience at Taphouse Grille in Wayne. We went for appetizers/drinks in mid-January after the holiday rush had finally subsided. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and once again by the bartender when approaching the bar. After looking at the drink menu, we were greeted by a manager. Taphouse Grille is under new ownership and the entire team was incredibly friendly. They happened to be doing a sampling for new ideas for appetizers and cocktails and we were encouraged to try and give our thoughts. The management team was extremely receptive and eager to hear our feedback and everything was delicious. It was great to see that they are interested in creating a balance in offering some new options as well as keeping the menu largely the same to draw new customers and keep their regulars happy. In contrast to other reviews I've seen, the prices on the menu seem the same. I felt that there was good value at the prices listed and the portion amounts were perfect. All drinks and appetizers that we had tried were delicious! We literally could not stop eating the bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with fig and goat cheese. They also had a bourbon honey glaze and this combo was incredible. Definitely get these when you visit! We also ordered a pizza and it was cooked perfectly. Even after the sampling of food and pizza, I found myself eager to try more food! I'm happy to see that Taphouse Grille is in good hands with the new owners and look forward to coming back again soon.
Not good. Place is old and smelly. Ac wasn't working properly and waitress said having issues with the power. So does that mean there's issue with the frig? Idk food was just ok but wouldn't go back
