The Taphouse Wayne

We’ve booked the Taphouse a number of times via OpenTable and have always had a positive experience. My kids love it there! When I booked our reservation this time, it was a beautiful night, so I grabbed an outdoor tent table (like we have done in the past). When we arrived, we saw the tent was dissembled so I called inside and they obviously confirmed that outdoor seating was not available. When I asked if we could still come inside to eat, they said that we would have to wait an hour (spoke to the hostess and the manager). The reservation we made through OpenTable didn’t seem to hold water. If you are making a reservation through here, definitely confirm with a phone call before getting surprised on site with hungry kids in tow.

Hamburger undercooked but passable. Noise level is way too loud.

I was there with a friend and both entrees were not good. My salmon was so dry along with the potatoes. My friend had the butternut squash pasta and said it made her sick. Also no walnuts were found (as listed on menu). We share the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and they were good. Waitress never asked if we needed drink refills. Probably won’t go back. This place used to be very good but has gone down hill.m

Good people, great service, friendly place for a local tavern.
