We went around 1:30 on a weekday so it was their slow time. Place looked clean and I liked the ambiance. Waiter was ok . Not good or bad. He ticked all the boxes other than checking back to see how things were which he did not do but nothing beyond that. Pancakes were cold. Fries were under seasoned. Breakfast burrito with American fries was so under seasoned it reminded me of something a hospital would serve so as not to offend anyone with health problems. All in all, very disappointed.
I had an excellent breakfast experience at this restaurant, impressed by the friendly service and the beautiful ambiance of the room. A friend recommended I drive here from St. Paul, and I’m really glad I made the trip. The high ceiling adds to the charm of the space. One of my companions ordered the classic Eggs Benedict, which came with several potato options— I chose the hash browns. Another friend enjoyed a fruit plate that was generously portioned with a variety of fruits. I highly recommend this place!
Both of our meals were outstanding, and to top it off, their Bloody Mary was one of the best I've had in a long time. I particularly enjoyed the garnish of dill vodka, ham, cream cheese, and asparagus. Although it is a bit pricey, the quality makes it worth it. I recommend visiting during off-peak hours since they don’t take reservations, and the wait can be long. As for parking, you might need to park down the block or across the street.
Fun atmosphere. Delicious food. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Stopped for a quick meal and had no problem getting a seat. Food was served hot and fresh. Weight staff was very attentive. Food was very flavorful. Will definitely be going back again.
My friends and I had brunch together on a weekday. The wait was only 20 minutes and the staff were friendly. Despite being busy, our waiter checked in with us constantly.I got the California Benedict with sweet potato hash browns which was really delicious. This is a great vegetarian option because it has so many toppings such as avocado, chiles, and spinach. I love sweet potato, so the hash browns were also very yummy. One of my friends got the California Benedict with sweet potato hash browns as well except added salmon. They said, “I really liked it! Sweet potato hash browns were soo good! The salmon was perfect with the California, but i would have enjoyed it more if the avo was sliced vs mashed. And the monkey bread was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I have to go back for more.”My other friend got the daily omelet with breakfast potatoes. They said, “Monkey bread was deliciously sweet. Potatoes were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The ketchup complimented them well. The omelette was delicious!” The only issue they had was that the omelet could have had more sausage.Lastly, for an appetizer we shared the monkey bread and all of us were obsessed with it. We got the half and half version with caramel and cream cheese. Personally, I liked the cream cheese topping more. Overall, this was the tastiest part of our experience!
